House sale and purchase

The experience was quite daunting and worrying at times.On two occassions we had to represent our paperwork even though a signature had been required.In the end we were pleased for all parties it was completed in time.

Stress free journey

From start of our selling/buying process to the end, Martin Tolhurst have been excellent with communication and transparency. This was our 2nd house purchase and it was made less stressful through Danny Ball and other colleagues with easy to read emails/phone calls. Would highly recommend to anyone in future.

We had an excellent experience buying our first home with the help of our solicitor Simran Pannu and our legal secretary Lauren New at Martin Tolhurst. Both Simran and Lauren were absolutely lovely to work with! We made it clear from the first moment we got in contact that we wanted to close on the house before 1st April to avoid stamp duty costs and they did everything in their power to ensure we avoided it. We ended up completing on the 31st March! Everything went smoothly and we're grateful for this seamless experience :)

Outstanding service & professionalism

Charlotte took over our case from another solicitor and seamlessly helped navigate the sale and purchase of two properties. She was very thorough in her work, and very clear and transparent about a number of what seemed to be complex matters. She was also very ably supported by her colleague Abbie. The whole process with the Estate Agents, vendors etc was generally chaotic, but Charlotte and her colleague definitely were the one part of the process where there was no chaos.

Charlotte and her team were very professional and pro active for both my sale and purchase. Always replied quickly to any queries. I was able to collect and drop off paperwork directly as post was not reliable.
It would have been nice to have one face to face meeting as everything done by email but requests for paper copies were always fullfield.
