We recently used Martin Tolhurst Solicitors for the purchase of our new home, and I honestly cannot praise them enough. From start to finish, Abdul, Abbie, and their team were incredibly professional, responsive, and above all, dedicated.

We were up against a very tight deadline due to the upcoming stamp duty increase, and the pressure was on to complete in time. Abdul, Abbie, and their team pulled out all the stops — working diligently, keeping us well-informed throughout, and pushing everything through with impressive speed and accuracy. Their hard work and commitment made what could have been a stressful experience smooth and manageable.

Thanks to their effort and efficiency, we completed just in time and saved a significant amount on stamp duty — something that would not have been possible without their support.

I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and hardworking solicitors.

Made property purchasing experience smoother

Our estate agent recommended Martin Tolhurst, and we were undoubtedly nervous, as we were purchasing our very first property, especially with it being a chained transaction and the SDLT due to increase on 1st April. However, Jessica came to our rescue. She took complete ownership of the conveyancing process for our property purchase.

Jessica is highly skilled in conveyancing, proactive, and always stayed on top of the process. Throughout the four-month process, Jessica patiently answered our numerous questions and provided sound advice whenever we approached her. For example, when we encountered a complex query regarding the property's boundary, Jessica provided a clear and detailed explanation, easing our concerns.
