I think if we were not told unrealistic time lines for the completion of the new house it would of been a excellent company to deal with.
We should of completed on the 19th / 20th Dec 2024 which we were promised I had taken time off work and booked a van for the move also we had family coming for Xmas day in the new house, but my wife said all along we will not be in by Xmas.
We started dealing with a different solicitor for the sale of our old house which when they heard the completion deadline they were straight with us and said it is unachievable which they were right, but we ended up changing from the solicitor to Ison Harrison, which then made the process even more complicated because I had Help to buy and a management company involved.
The help to buy was one of the worse companies I have ever dealt with even so I instructed them of my new solicitor they still send the documents to the old solicitor and I did not realise how much it would cost to get rid of Help to buy worse mistake I made taking a Help to buy.
The other company was the Management company First port who were equally as bad, because of the timeline involved I had to pay £650 for the platinum service which is 2 days for the management pack but if Ison Harrison had of told me that I needed to pay this I could of got the standard package at £415.
There was a lot of expense for me to pay Help to buy, First port and lost money changing solicitors work commitments and changing van rental 3 different times
