Thornton jones as a company have been fantastic conveyancers, they greatly helped the stressful and tedious process of buying a house. When needed they helped to move things along quickly and when that wasn't possible they kept a very clear channel of communication between myself and the vendor. Robyn played a key part in this an it's clear she is very organised and a great communicator. Claire led the process well, she was easy to trust from the beginning to the end and proved her skills and knowledge multiple times. The human element from both lawyers was perhaps one of the biggest highlights, I was able to talk in layman's terms about law and my responsibilities and was able to call them for easy reassurance, which is incredibly valuable during such a stressful time. Well done and thank you both.

Claire was excellent from day one and remained so throughout. She is kind, friendly and approachable and always kept us fully updated.
She was quick to offer advice and legal expertise and was absolutely tenacious, particularly towards the end when I was pushing for a completion date!
As a first time buyer, the entire process was slightly terrifying. Claire made it less so, and if/when I calm down enough to move in the future, I would definitely instruct her again.

We had a really positive experience with the team, especially Claire W, who was incredibly thorough and professional throughout. Despite the pressure of the stamp duty rise period, she kept things moving and made sure we were kept updated. I used Thornton Jones Solicitors’s to buy a home and I would 100% recommend them and use them again in the future. Most things are done via email/ on their app and this makes everything soo much quicker rather than waiting on receiving papers in the post and returning them. They are friendly, helpful and professional. Can’t fault them. Also a special mention to Emily Swann in the Sherburn in Elmet office who I have been dealing with. You’ve been amazing! Thank you!!!
