Slow and poor communication

Extremely slow process, I had to push and push to get closure. Finally on completion there was no final account so I have no detail on disbursements.

My previous experience with other solicitors had all been poor - that everything would take ages, that they were impossible to get hold of. Seeking an alternative, I went online and PCS came top of the list for recommended solicitors. I have been thankful for that ever since - throughout the process for which I hired them they have been efficient, replied promptly to all my communication, and kept me fully informed.

What service?

They never call back. No correspondence whatsoever. Even if you drive to office no one has the courtesy to see you other than the receptionist.

I cannot believe how incredible this team have been!

From start to finish, we have not had a single hiccup. Eleanor & her team dealt with our case so professionally, on time and were so helpful, especially as we were buying our first home and did not have a clue about the legal information! I literally cannot recommend PCS Legal enough, and although we received cheaper quotes, we are SO glad we went with PCS because they have been nothing short of amazing! I especially liked the online portal that I could log in to, check the milestone tracker of our case, and message our solicitors via the handy message app instead of going back and forth on emails and phone calls! I had heard horror stories about nightmare solicitors, so went into it feeling quite skeptical, but they've absolutely changed our minds, and we will 100% be using them going forward!! A special mention to Alanna R who dealt with the majority of our enquiries - you are incredible!

Communication was appaling.
1. Unanswered messages after 4 days.
2. Couldn't get through to extension as mailbox full.
3. Waiting for operator randomly got cuttoff after waiting for upwards of 30 minutes.
4. Promised multiple call backs but never materialised

We ended up sackin PCS Legal ond going with another firm. I would avoid at all costs.

Team Quebec was a nightmare. A simple cash purchase took forever, at one stage I couldn't contact the team for 10 days.

Lauren and the team dealt with the sale of my mother's bungalow. Lauren was very approachable and friendly and happy to explain each step of the process. She was proactive in advising me of critical dates and documents to be signed. I was able to get through immediately to their office on the phone whenever I had queries. The whole process was much quicker and easier than I expected. I was also happy with the price charged for the conveyancing process.
