Andrew Baker was excellent to deal with and in what should have been an easy straightforward case to deal with but was complicated unnecessarily by the plaintiff and their various solicitors.

I am writing to offer my heartfelt and unequivocal recommendation for Boys & Maughn- my solicitor Jonathan DaCosta his assistant Karen and his colleague Zoey.
Their support, professionalism, and compassion throughout my extraordinarily difficult four-year divorce were nothing short of exceptional.
From the very offset, Mr DaCosta demonstrated not only legal expertise but a level of care and empathy that made an emotionally gruelling process more bearable. I was dealing with an unreasonable ex-partner, and at every stage, he provided calm, reassuring guidance that helped me feel protected, informed, and respected.

Anna Leach from Boys & Maughan was excellent throughout. Our Sale had nuances regarding covenants and adjacent land in Trust, whilst on our Purchase the other parties were slow to respond and had to be chased several times for even the most routine enquiries. Anna was terrific throughout & without her, we wouldn't have completed on the preferred day.

Richard Robinson was appointed to help sell my flat. I knew starting that it wasn’t going to be a simple process as a similar flat in the same development had been going through the sale process starting around 9 months earlier and had not completed.
Richard was very good a giving me regular updates, replying to emails and calls and explaining what the technical terms meant. We did run into significant road blocks along a way around a unresponsive management company where both myself and Richard chased up managing to get the required information where the other mentioned flat was not able to.
This would’ve been a 5 star review however after exchange and the day before completion Richard informed me that the help to buy equity loan side had been overlooked and not completed. I was able to get a valuation carried out the next day and Richard chased help to buy customer service as was able to complete just a day late. Richard was very apologetic and reduce my legals fees by a fair amount in compensation unprompted.
