This review is for a different branch.
I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to warn others about my experience with Taylor Rose.
We appointed them to handle a straightforward conveyancing transaction involving a flat with a share of freehold. The service we received was not only careless, but in my view, unprofessionall.
First, they mishandled the service charge apportionment, resulting in a financial shortfall that we had to chase them for weeks to address.
Far more seriously, Taylor Rose completed the purchase and transferred our funds without securing the share in the freehold company — a key part of the transaction. For months, they repeatedly told us in writing that we already held a share, only for us to discover much later that no such transfer had ever taken place. As a result, we are now being asked to pay thousands of pounds more to correct an error that was entirely theirs.
To make matters worse, we had months of delays, contradictory communication, and broken promises.
This experience has caused us significant stress, financial loss, and wasted time. I would strongly urge anyone considering Taylor Rose for conveyancing to think twice. In our case, they failed in their most basic duties.
